Resumo

It is with great satisfaction that we present to the public the second edition of the Brazilian Journal of Sport Psychology and Human Development (BJSPHD). This journal was born from a clear mission: to consolidate and expand the paths of Sports Psychology and related areas, expanding its relevance both in Brazil and in the international arena.
The BJSPHD is the fruit of the union of efforts between two institutions that, throughout history, have stood out for the production of knowledge and the construction of solid practices in the field: the Laboratório de Estudos e Pesquisas em Psicologia do Esporte (LEPESPE), da UNESP – Rio Claro, and a Brazilian Association of Studies in Psychology of Sports and Exercises (ABEPPEx). Together, these institutions become protagonists in the consolidation of a critical, innovative and deeply connected Sports Psychology with social, educational and sports demands.
May this second edition inspire new practices, encourage debates and motivate the continuity of a project that is nourished by peace and knowledge and ethical responsibility with science and society.
