Perception and thought are the basis to knowledge and understand the world. In the pure perception we take the external impulse, in the thought is the subject’s own activity that establish sense to the external impressions. The Steiner’s Sense Theory consider twelve human senses for the observation and perception of life, which are divided in three groups: cognitive, emotive and volitive senses. It is described the definition of perception according to Goethe’s cientific method and its process in four steps. The question of environmental perception in Waldorf Pedagogy works with a gradual transition from the pure perception to the elaborated perception and from the originally imaginative thought to the abstract thought. The image is the singular esthetic element that sustain the liveliness of the perception and the fertility of the thinking, and is the bridge in the transition between the naive and the abstract. The esthetically impoverished environments are a thread to the qualitativ development of human perception. Key words: Environmental Perception. Ecologic Education. Waldorf Pedagogy. Goethe.
