The aim of this work was to evaluate the vinasse treatment by an acidogenic followed by a methanogenic RAHLF. The first one was filled out polyurethane foam cubes and the second one with limestones and polyurethane foam cubes. The useful volume of the acidogenic reactor was of 4.9 L, hydraulic detention time of 1 day and of the methanogenic reactor was of 12.4 L and 3 days, totaling 4 days for the system. The system was operated by 74 days submitted to organic rates of 5, 7.5 and 10 gCOD/L.d. The results showed that the anaerobic reactors presented high performance of the COD removal of 64% in the greatest applied organic volumetric load of 3.3 g.L-1.d-1. The pH, AI/AP rate, alkalinity to bicarbonate and total volatile acidity also had great results as 7.8, 0.9, 0.63 gHCO3-.L-1and 1.42 gHAc.L-1, respectively. The major biogas production was of 1.4 L.d-1 on average with biogas field of 0.112 Lbiogás.Lreator.d-1 and 0.271 L.L.biogás.gDQOrem.d-1. Key words: Anaerobic Digestion. Agro-Industrial Wastewater. Biogas. Vinasse. Sugar Cane. Treatment.Downloads
