Having as reference theoretical the works of German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, the aim of this article was to promote a discussion on how the model Apollonian and Dionysian and the superman relate with the xaxado, from the cangaço. In this perspective the article is divided into two parts: the first discusses issues related to the Nietzschean philosophy as unwethung, superman, Apollonian and Dionysian models. The second presents the allegory of xaxado as Dionysian dance, and how this may be a possibility for the emergence of the superman, that would create its own values, according to his will to power, their sense of power.Downloads
