This article presents the result of an investigation on the representation of senior individuals regarding quality of life and the practice of physical activities. We have started from the concept of quality of life as all that related to the welfare of the individual. The research has a qualitative boarding and used questionnaires as instrument of data collection. The sample was constituted by men and women, pertaining the two different universes, totalizing 52 individuals. We have investigated which aspects (physical, affective, social, cultural and psychological) are considered in the concept of quality of life in the opinion of senior individuals, as well as their relation with the physical activities. The preferences of the practitioners of physical activities and the reasons for such practice were also researched.
