Abstract

The communication, in the soccer competition, is the way the coach used to transmit information in order to optimize the performance of the players. We intend to characterize and compare the coach instruction behaviors on adult and youth teams. Ten coaches were filmed (five of young and five of adults) in nineteen games. The observation system to collect data on the behavior of instruction is SAIC. The results demonstrate the existence of differences between the youth and adult coaches with regard to instruction and attention and motor behavior reactive.

Possui licenciatura em Ciencias do Desporto pela Faculdade Motricidade Humana (1998) e mestrado Treino Desportivo pela Escola Superior de Desporto de Rio Maior (2010). Atualmente é professor de educação física/desporto do Ministério de Educação e Treinador de Futebol. Tem experiência na área de Educação Física e Treino Desportivo. Membro colaborador do Centro de Investigação de Desporto, Saúde e Desenvolvimento Humano.
