Abstract

The aim of this study was to evaluate the impact of social dynamics (family, friends and school) on the mood states. The survey was conducted with a female volleyball team (14/15 years). Applied the POMS test (Profile of Mood States) to measure the mood states. We used a scale from 1 (very bad) to 5 (very good) to have the athletes´ evaluation of the three factors. The data were treated using Pearson's correlation and analysis of variance ANOVA "One Way" with Scheffé post hoc test, both p<0.01. The results showed significant correlations between scales and the mood states, and significant differences between the levels’ intensity which were indicated on the scale of the three factors and moods. The results show clear interference of social dynamics on the mood states. Therefore, social interference cannot be ignored in the preparation of the athlete.

Aperfeiçoamento em Voleibol no Instituto Estatal de Cultura Física de Moscou (1997), especialização em Psicologia do Esporte pela Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas (1997), especialização em Voleibol pela Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas (1996), aperfeiçoamento em Teoria e Metodologia do Treinamento Desportivo no Instituto Estatal de Cultura Física de Moscou (1994), graduado em Educação Física pela Universidade de Formação Educação e Cultura do ABC - UNIABC (1994). Editor-Chefe da REFELD - Revista Brasileira de Educação Física, Esporte, Lazer e Dança. Tem experiência na área de Gestão Universitária e em Educação Física, com ênfase em Estados Emocionais e Movimento, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Educação, Gestão Universitária, esporte, estados emocionais e psicologia do esporte.

Afonso Antonio Machado, UNESP - Rio Claro

Licenciado em Educação Física pela PUC- Campinas (1976); graduado em Filosofia e Pedagogia. Mestre (1985) e doutor(1994) em Educação, pela UNICAMP. Livre-docente pelo Instituto de Biociências, UNESP, Rio Claro, com a tese "Agressividade e ansiedade em atletas jovens"(1998). Editor-chefe da Revista MOTRIZ, membro editorial da Revista Brasileira de Educação Física, Esporte, Lazer e Dança (REFELD), da Revista Iberoamericana de Psicología del Ejercício e del Deporto e da Coleção Pesquisa em Educação Física. Professor adjunto da UNESP/ Rio Claro, em RDIDP. Atua na Educação Física, com ênfase nos temas: estados emocionais, identidade psicológica do esportista, gênero e masculinidade no esporte e lesões psicológicas esportivas. Coordena o LEPESPE (Laboratório de Estudos e Pesquisas em Psicologia do Esporte), foi presidente da SOBRAPE (Sociedade Brasileira de Psicologia do Esporte), na gestão 2006-08. Realizou estágio de pós-doutoramento no Laboratório de Psicologia do Esporte, junto ao Prof. Dr. Duarte Araújo, da Faculdade de Motricidade Humana, em Lisboa(08-09) e na Universidade do Minho, com Prof. Dr. António Rui Gomes (10-11). Bolsista PQ (2010-13). Coordenador do Programa de Pós-graduação em Desenvolvimento Humano e Tecnologias (DEHUTE), no IB/UNESP.
