Abstract

For being part of the most impacted areas by the erosion processes in the São Paulo State, this work aims at allowing the erosion process for the environment planning, contribute for the understanding the erosion processes, identify erosion risk areas and develop an environment method analyses by means of dynamic climatology. The area studied is the west region of the São Paulo State between the coordinates 21º and 23ºS and 50º and 53ºW, having the Paranapanema and Paraná rivers as its limits. As this region is divided into two zonal areas in which there are two different weather types, it was researched the understanding of its dynamic through means of atmospheric systems which actuate on these areas and how the rainfall is generated, as its intensity and quantity. Being so, according to the applied techniques, it was possible to subdivide the area into climatic regions, determining the type of impact for each provoked by rainfall, which were then analysed, in a temporal series of 30 years, by means of monthly data and “ pattern - years “, and by means of daily data and time. The climatic results found in this work, associated to the other physical elements related to the erosion process in the West of São Paulo State, make way to the real weather dynamics, in the study of geographical space, with the possibility of giving support to the regional and local planning, not only as the erosive and pluvial aspects but also to the different aspects related to the environmental analyses. Key-words: rainfall; erosion; climatologic dynamics; environmental planning; regional planning; pluvial risk; environmental analyses.
