Authors

Abstract

This work aims to present teaching methodologies on the content “soil”, applied in 6th and 7th grade classes of elementary school. In methodological terms, the research is empirical and qualitative-quantitative in nature, having as its main modality the action research developed at the Tiradentes Municipal School in Campina Grande-Paraiba, in the year 2022. The results point to the engagement of the classes involved during the team activities, contributing to learning and fostering the interaction between the students and the researcher. It is concluded that discussing the content “soil”, from active teaching methodologies in Basic Education, contributes to citizen formation, environmental awareness, and, later, to the conservation and protection of soils by the students.
