Emoções em um passeio em família: um estudo no Zoológico Municipal Quinzinho de Barros (Sorocaba-SP)

Neste artigo, investigamos a dimensão emocional das conversas e interações ocorridas nas visitas de sete grupos familiares ao Parque Zoológico Municipal Quinzinho de Barros (Sorocaba - SP), que foram gravadas por meio de câmera GoPro levada por uma das crianças de cada grupo. A partir do software Dedoose, os dados audiovisuais foram categorizados segundo protocolo que permite interpretar as interações pela lente da emoção. A análise indicou que a experiência da visita foi prazerosa, com predomínio de emoções de valência positiva (excitação, ternura, curiosidade e diversão) ou neutra (surpresa). Já as emoções de valência negativa mais identificadas foram a confusão, o aborrecimento, a piedade e o desapontamento. De modo geral, as emoções perpassaram os momentos de visualização, identificação de animais e observação de seus comportamentos, incluindo quando esbarravam em dificuldades para realizar essas atividades. Especificamente a excitação e a diversão estimularam o interesse, enquanto a surpresa, a curiosidade, a confusão e o desapontamento demonstraram potencial para promover o processo cognitivo e experiências de aprendizagem colaborativas a partir de quebras de expectativas. A ternura esteve relacionada à valoração estética, enquanto a piedade foi, principalmente, uma reação a informações sobre a morte ou risco de extinção. Já o aborrecimento foi mais recorrente no âmbito de conflitos pontuais entre os membros da família.
